Meet Molly Wagner!
“I chose Kent State for the culture and the history of activism," said Molly. "Both of those things are very important to me and are integral parts of art history, which at the end of the day, is just a reflection of reality.”
This summer, students in լƵAPP's School of Art had an opportunity to study in Italy through the university's Florence Summer Institute program.
The School of Art Collection and Galleries at լƵAPP are pleased to announce a new exhibit, Sticks • Rocks • Leaves, by Natalie Petrosky. The show will be on display from June 7- July 27, 2024, in the KSU Downtown Gallery, located at 141 East Main Street in Kent, Ohio.
College of the Arts faculty members were recognized by լƵAPP at the Honors Banquet held on April 24, 2024.
Students in Kent State's School of Art had the opportunity to use modern methods to recreate an ancient Chinese wine vessel.
Meet Teresa Morek!
“I chose Kent State because of the amazing art program, beautiful campus, safety and inclusivity,” said Teresa, “I knew from the day I toured campus that Kent was exactly what I wanted and that I didn't even need to look anywhere else.”
An art exhibition in the լƵAPP Downtown Gallery uses images of UFOs to evoke questions about reality in a world where truth is often reframed.
The School of Art Holiday Sale is Dec. 7 and 8 in the Center for the Visual Arts Gallery.
The Kent Blossom Art Intensives welcome students and artists to campus to create art and learn from artists from around the world.
