Second-year nursing students at Kent State received white coats in a ceremony marking their transition into the professional sequence of their program.
According to the National Institute for Mental Health, nearly 11 percent of children in the United States aged 5-17 have been diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), a common neurodevelopmental disorder that results in difficulties with focused attention, impulsiveness and hyperactivity.
Kent State's College of Nursing welcomed students from Cuyahoga Community College to the simulation lab on the Kent Campus for a tour and demonstration.
